The Malaysia Professional Dancesport Council (MPDC) is the Malaysian body governing all aspects of Professional Dancesport nationwide, either through its Office Bearers, Member bodies and Members or by administrative agreements with other persons and organizations.

MPDC is established independently and registered with the Sports Commissioner of Malaysia and is officially endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Malaysia, Malaysia National Sports Council, Malaysia National Institute of Sports.

MPDC is a Full Member of both the International Professional DanceSport Council (IPDSC) and Asian Professional Dancesport Council (APDC). It is formed to encourage and support professional dancesport in close cooperation and consultation with the Malaysia Dancesport Berhad (MDSB), Asia Dancesport Federation (ADSF) and International DanceSport Federation (IDSF), to advance the objectives of these associated organizations in the interest of Dancesport and its following.
